Welcome to my new (to you) blog, Musings of MissAdventure! I hope you find reading my ramblings as fulfilling as I find writing them. I thought up the idea of this project whilst in my darkest hours hidden atop a dreary mountain on the Atlantic coast. These ideas strike without warning.
Writing comes quite naturally to me (or so I tell myself). You may know me from previous publications such as Wanna Frac? or less technical content like Jane's Animals. My previous (mis)adventures to the distant reaches of the north and the heart of Wild Rose Country as a young engineer-to-be have inspired me to embark on this new literary journey. Together we will attempt to survive rural life, travel to distant lands, and eventually end up in a desert. After that, who knows?
You'll find a fabulous button below which I created to allow you to browse the adventures of my post school life at your leisure. That may be code for my decent into insanity, but either way it should provide for some entertainment. I am particularly excited for an upcoming installment which will be a play-by-play of my attempts to stream GOT live from a remote location. How remote? We're talking download speeds of 0.5 Mbps if you're lucky, so you know it's BAD. But not quite as bad as the speeds witnessed during my arctic adventures. Ah but that is a story for another day.
To everyone who is new here welcome again, but let's be honest it's probably only me. If not... well that's awkward.

MissAdventure 4: How to Start a Career

Well, it’s been interesting to say the least and 100% qualifies for “MissAdventure” certification. In the first weeks of my newest post-university adventure I have had the pleasure of witnessing the downfall (whist being assured it is not) of a company division. Oh and yes, I am working at said division. Not exactly what I had been waiting over a year for, but if all was normal this wouldn’t be as tantalizing of a tale. See, it appeared that my troubles would be over after the severe flash flooding I witnessed from the “least safe place to be”, listening to the emergency radio broadcast and realizing that was exactly where I was. The terror really sinks in when you look to the left and quite literally see a car… sinking… in water. Submerged. Gone. Don’t worry, I’m still here to bring a good hearty laugh and smile to your day at my own expense. My apartment was fine thanks to my dear grandfather (thank you again!) who insisted I pour over a flood map before choosing an apartment.
